Pump House Clog outside The Pump House – 2006

For a good number of years I’ve been photographing Brighton Morris and their annual Day of Dance at various locations around Brighton. Next year marks Brighton Morris’s 50th anniversary and it seems appropriate to look back on my association with them, whilst at the same time selecting and editing potential material for a book idea that has been pending for a few years now. The original plan for this year’s Brighton Photo Fringe, was to create a trail of photographs at several locations relevant to places where they, Brighton Morris and their guest sides dance and make merry every year in May, on their Day of Dance

At the moment the primary location will be the Brighton Tavern – 1st October – 30th October.

Ah yes, the TRAILMAP, if you’re wondering where it is, then I’m afraid to say there isn’t one. Originally the plan was to create a trail between the Fishing Museum on the seafront, the Pump House in the Brighton Lanes, and the Brighton Tavern, three of the locations that BMM dance at during their annual Day of Dance.
